As the climax builds up
And all the instruments
reach their high notes
The eyes wait
for me to take the stage
And I fear the moment
that I know will come
And I am pushed
into the cold cage
of the spotlight
My eyes are blinded
by the sharp black glare
The skin burns
with the heat of the stares
My hands run
trying to cover the body that's bare
And the laughs echo
the heads nod
And only silent screams
come out of my open mouth
And hot acid tears
burn down the broken house
Oh, I crash down to my knees
and there's a loud breakdown

Applaud rises
from the uncaring hands
The empty bodies leave
their cold seats
I am left behind
in the darkness of the spotlight....
